Testimonials

I just want to share with you a bit of good news after my graduation from Premese. I came back to Tanzania and I started to implement what you have been telling us during my stay in Kenya. I am now running my own NGO as a Director with three employees dealing with women and youth empowerment against poverty (WYEAP). It has been registered under the Company’s Act Cap 212 in Tanzania. I also thank all of Premese staff who gave me courage. I am now an elected Councillor. I went up to the national level elections where I became the youngest Councillor. And guess what, after vote counting, I won with more than double of all the votes cast to my competitors combined. Hence I am now Councillor representing my people in the Municipal Council. This is no mean achievement given that I graduated from Premese only three months ago. Because of that I now want to send my sister to undertake the similar course and also I am coming to join advanced diploma soon.

You have always encouraged me in your motivational talks. You ignite me just like one ignites a car engine. Your motivational talks make me see my dream more clearly. Thanks for the risk you took in your career life that inspires us against our fears. We now believe it can be done. Your personal story serves as shock-absorber in the potholes of our lives

I have been quite successful in applying the new knowledge gained in Premese Africa including the inspiring motivational talks by Dr. Mulwa. I work in Puntland Somalia serving Internally Displaced Persons under the auspices of an international NGO called DRC

I will forever remember what you told us that ‘Happy are those who dream dreams and are willing to pay the price to make them come true’. I am now living my dream! You have been our bridge to our destiny.

I was highly encouraged by your motivational talk. Your Motto and your own determination made me turn-around and see things differently. I am glad I am achieving my life dreams, despite my miserable past as a school drop-out for lack of fees. I am now a Director and Gold Level Member of Kenya Professional Safari Guides Association and Lecturer at a Guiding School in Masai Mara. ‘Obstacles are those things that you see when you take your eyes off the goal’, that’s what you told us Dr. Mulwa. I am determined to remain focused on my goal.

I am happy for your words of encouragement during our final exams at your college. It was after your encouragement that I decided I will not stop at Diploma Level. Thank you for encouraging us to dream it and really I will make it. I am finally doing my degree at the Catholic University of Malawi where I was admitted on the basis of my Diploma qualification from Premese Africa and after the strong recommendation you wrote about me to the University. I will encourage more Malawians to come to Premese Africa. Premese (read God) can really do wonders.

Never get tired with us Doctor. You have already done your good work and you have made us become people. I am very much respected in Malawi especially in our work place because of your school.

When I first enrolled for my first Diploma in Premese Africa, I did not imagine it would be so interesting and that it would take me to places. After completion, I got my portfolio in my organisation expanded and promotions came my way. I have also had the privilege of attending an international conference on HIV/AIDS in Anaheim, USA, and another in Dakar in Senegal. That’s all as a result of your inspiration and encouragement to climb up our careers. Congratulations to you Dr. Mulwa.

I was among those affected by retrenchments in my organisation when you came to give us a motivational talk. I was also diagnosed to be HIV positive just about the same time. I decided I would not bear such a burden and that the best for me was to take away my life. But before I executed my suicidal plans, my confidant advised me to hold on until I listened to a motivational speaker invited by the organisation to cushion people against the effects of retrenchment. That’s how I met you Dr. Mulwa. I was in the crowd of the 130 members of staff that you addressed. Your 19 grand lessons were so inspiring that I decided to change my plans and keep my life. Later I tested HIV negative. The initial test turned out to have had an error. The other good news is that I was not affected by the retrenchments after all. You should believe me when I tell you I am the happiest man in the world. Who else would have used you this way but God?

I am currently working in Bangladesh with the World Food Programme. It is a very interesting experience and I am happy to note that the knowledge I gained in my community development diploma course in Premese Africa keeps serving me well.

May the almighty God shower you with great blessings as you continue opening up success avenues for some of us who were once looked down upon by the society and even by our own families as academic failures. Personally I never imagined that one day I would get such great opportunity to further my studies and stand tall and confident to be counted.

This is a thank you note to you for encouraging me to choose Premese when I first spoke to you. I had been a housewife and jobless for over 15 years. At first I thought I could never study again but you encouraged me, then I joined your college to pursue Diploma in Human Resource Management. I was encouraged by the motivational talks during workshops and today I am proud to inform you that I got a job at NSSF and in addition, I have become a motivational speaker too. I have had to cross many rivers and mountains but I thank God that today I can look back and say the Lord has been my Ebenezer. It is finally confirmed true that: ‘If I you dream it, you can make it’. God bless you Dr. Mulwa.

I called this morning to share my excitement with you. I have just been admitted at the Egerton University to pursue my Bachelors Degree in Community Development by distance learning. Thank you Dr. Mulwa for transforming our lives through your encouragement and inspiration. I dreamed it, and I believe I will make it.
